Part of the overall Hidden Valley nature experience
is their trail system. Miles of trails meander throughout the resort
and many connect with other trails in adjoining state parklands, like
Kooser State Park and Forbes State Forest.Years of neglect had left
many trails unmarked, unmowed, and virtually invisible to the visitor.
To remedy that situation, I began to revive their infrastructure of
existing trails by creating a new trail map for guests, marking paths,
and enlisting the cooperation of resort maintenance crews for mowing
paths.
